Our client requires someone to assume management of their Business Development with special attention to the management of specific Key Customers within North America. With the responsibility of maintaining & growing the sales volume, revenue and profit of the business, while working closely with the marketing, sales, research and development as well as manufacturing and supply chain teams. You will actively develop, manage, and drive commercialization of both current and future technical innovation.
Our Client’s market is complex and requires a broad range of technology to address multitude of applications. Development of new opportunities at customers requires significant technical involvement and perseverance; in many cases taking many years to be fully realize.
This role has a high level of autonomy, with monthly formal reporting to the Divisional Commercial Director and will be required to travel on a regular basis.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Manage and develop the Sales & Business Development.
- Deliver annual/quarterly financial targets in-line with the company’s budget & forecasting
- Manage specific Key Customer relationship with both established and prospective accounts and distributors.
- Support, coordinate and manage new product introductions to key customers and potential new markets.
- Manage, develop and drive sales opportunities through effective sales opportunity pipeline.
- Proactively participate in the Innovation product portfolio.
- Accountable for managing price guidance implementation, cash collection, forecast accuracy and new business development.
- Assist Divisional Commercial Director in building the future strategy of the company.
REQUIRMENTS
- Chemical catalyst Industry expertise required – commercially and technically.
- 5 years commercial experience.
- BS in business or a technical field.
- Fluent in English
- Analytical capability for business decision making
- Excellent negotiation skills
